Do you think your creative process is effected by living where you do? If you lived somewhere other than NY, would your music be in some way different?
Absolutely, New York layers every different aesthetic upon each other, so much happens in so little space and time and I think this kind of controlled chaos is a big influence on my music. Living in a big city you see beauty in certain kinds of grittiness and this has opened my ears to the musical possibilities of seemingly meaningless sounds.
